Lower Beech Farm
Great Haseley, Oxfordshire
DESIGN: This Farmhouse kitchen was designed in collaboration with our client.
BRIEF: As part of a considered heritage extension project, classic panelled cabinetry sits effortlessly into the centuries-old architecture of this Grade II-listed farmhouse, forming an open-plan space, aesthetically fused with the quintessential English country garden beyond.
CABINETRY: Traditional cabinetry takes a linear form to one side of the space and follows a curved feature wall to the other, where an open shelf and shaped worktop echo the striking curved line.
FITTINGS: An under-mounted butler sink, with polished chrome fixings, is set beneath a gently marbled worktop. The cool materials are balanced by warm timber tones and matched aged flagstones.
Lower Beech Farm: a carefully considered extension and a timeless kitchen
Lower Beech Farm is a charming grade II listed Oxfordshire residence, in which, like many heritage properties the kitchen was built to stay cool.
