Chiltern Farmhouse

Henley-On-Thames, Oxfordshire

DESIGN: Designed by Napier Clarke Architects and Last Interior Design.

BRIEF: A kitchen space, designed, configured, and manufactured for maximum functionality, and to the same fresh bold aesthetic seen throughout the property. The kitchen and butler’s pantry were to sit within a newly remodelled open-plan living space, situated within the modern section of their Grade II*-listed home.

CABINETRY: Our client’s brave colour palette allowed for a smooth terracotta finish for the island and under-counter cabinetry; a shade enhanced by the simplicity and clean lines of the flat-fronted cabinetry. Contrasting full-height cabinets in natural oak provide ample storage.

Sections of the bare oak cabinetry exhibit a uniformly routed design feature, a style mirrored in the butler’s pantry, utility room and on internal doors throughout the property. A bespoke light oil oak finish was formulated specifically for the project and used throughout.

FITTINGS:
Matt black handles and knobs are by Croft and Dowsing & Reynolds. Appliances are by Miele, with a BORA hob. The worktop in the kitchen and the butler’s pantry are in Caesarstone’s Fresh Concrete.
