Spring Shaw
Nettlebed, Oxfordshire
A multi-purpose space, the Spring Shaw kitchen was designed to be a family kitchen, an entertaining space and as an artisan studio for our client's biscuiterie.
Custom-made flat-fronted cabinetry is spray-finished in Farrow & Ball's Stiffkey Blue for a durable, contemporary finish. Matt black linear pull handles from Viefe sit discretely to the tops and sides of doors and drawers, nodding to the property’s fine line fenestration.

A large central island is unencumbered by fixings, giving a huge, clear, usable space. Dekton by Cosentino worktops, Entzo in colour, are mitre-cut at one end creating a perfect waterfall down to the floor. At the other end, cabinetry beneath finishes in a corner L-shape – allowing four chairs to tuck in around the island. The marbled surface is also used to create upstands and the mid-base for the pantry dresser cupboards, where it acts as a cold slab for fresh produce storage.
