Burrow Cottage //

Great Haseley

The orangery extension of this Grade II listed Buckinghamshire cottage allowed for a galley kitchen, walk in larder cupboard and utility space. The kitchen design inspiration came from a racing car print - which became central to the client brief in terms of colour schemes and materials.

Traditional cockbead framed cabinetry with quarter round beading to shaker style door panels.

Solid oak veneered internals complement the solid oak paneling of the larder and utility doors.

The cabinetry is finished by leather stitched handles with satin chrome caps.  30mm thick 'Negro Stellar' Silestone, polished and flecked, helps to bounce light around the space, emulating a wet race track.

The 'Racing Green' Aga with black glass splashback picks out the colours and textures of the Lotus print.

The larder cupboard is built into the sloping ceiling, maximising storage space in this compact and perfectly designed kitchen.

Solid oak dovetail jointed drawer boxes throughout.

The Lotus Formula One print, around which the kitchen has been designed.

A polished chrome tap set has been chosen specifically for their quirky "piston like" design.

The black glass AGA back splash is set proud, reflecting the orangery and garden behind.
